Amanecer

Unverified non-profit organisation

Amanecer was started by the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in 1981. They were motivated by the increasing number of abandoned children living on the streets of Cochabamba in Bolivia as a result of poor economic conditions. Amanecer aims to protect and defend the basic rights of children of both sexes, by promoting the children’s physical, intellectual, spiritual and social development. Amanecer accepts small packages to be distributed to individual children, including items such as T-shirts, action figures, ball caps, posters, novelty items and post cards.
