Caritas Paraguay is involved in humanitarian and development work, and has a special focus on advocating for social change at the grassroots and national levels. The organisation helps to strengthen civil society and advocates to call on the country’s leaders to address these problems and tackle the legacy of corruption and patronage. It also works on the environment, especially sustainability of agriculture and campaigns to reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers used in farming.
