MCD International is a division of Medical Care Development (MCD), Inc., a health planning, management research and training organisation based in Augusta, Maine. Originally, MCD provided health services to underserved rural communities in the United States. An international division was established in 1977, enabling MCD to develop health programmes to meet the needs of disadvantaged and vulnerable people in developing countries.
