Charity Care Foundation is a humanitarian, community based, non-government organization (NGO) working in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem District of the Central Region. It was founded on 29th October 2000 and is dully registered with the registrar General Department, the Department of the Social Welfare and Metropolitan/Municipal/District Assemblies (MMDs) with Certificates Nos. (G7309, D.S.W 1479 and KEEA No. 6 respectively).
Main thrust area of the organization is social, education, economic development of neglected women, youth and children of most backward/deprived communities and minorities through organizing the women into groups and associations; provided varies training, exposure and workshops on leadership and decision-making. The Foundation also provides free legal aid, strengthening and improving the women involvement in the process of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) at all levels.

Vision:
To reduce poverty in rural communities and improve the living standards of the most vulnerable women, youth including children.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

1. Assist in poverty alleviation activities by helping to increase the economic power (the income level) of the poor especially women and the youth
Co-operating with other human-centered individuals and organizations locally and internationally that share the same ideas, goals and aspiration to help achieve our set goals and objectives.

2. Promote good environmental and sanitation practices among target communities as well as Sustainable Community Natural Resource Management Projects.

3. Promote youth in agriculture development activities by encouraging the youth to go into Agro-forestry crops and animal production, processing and marketing.

4. Promote Legal Literacy Programme (Human, Reproductive and Child Rights) education and services.

5. Promote Gender equity and equality in Development.

6. Promote primary Health Care, Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS Prevention
