The Healthy Adaptation and Life Skills Organization aims to create a safe place that nurtures and supports youth and poor women and support for the vulnerable members, caring for the world where, by living in balance. It also helps to sustain the earth and by taking action and strives to transform the communities rich in beauty and celebration.

This initiative wishes for support to launch interventions for highly marginalised, adolescent girls who are out of school (either because they have never attended school, or have already dropped out of school without gaining a basic education) to (re-) enrol in education, gain employment or improve the quality of their family lives life skills education.
Another primary focus of HALO Kenya is implementation of Mother-to-child transmission PMTCT projects as it is the leading cause of HIV infection in children. It remains a major public health problem worldwide, with the greatest burden in resource-poor settings. HALO KENYA is keen to implement interventions and integration along the four components of PMTCT within reproductive health and maternal neonatal and child health (MNCH) services. HIV testing appears under each of the four components but the budgeting for the HIV test kits is consolidated.

The four pronged approach of PMTCT include the below :
 Prevention of HIV in women
 Prevention of unintended pregnancies in HIV infected women
 Prevention of HIV transmission from HIV infected women to infants
 Provision of care, treatment and support to mothers living with HIV, their children and families
