Ethical Encounters

Unverified non-profit organisation

Ethical Encounters is a South African charitable organisation that organises travel to other parts of the continent and in doing so, aims to assist small community organisations who need resources for their own projects. This is achieved by encouraging travellers to undertake volunteering projects as part of their trip. The organisation aims to provide opportunities to have ‘real life’ experiences ranging from new food and languages, unique activities, and adventures, to hospitality and homestays with local families.

Trips organised by Ethical Encounters focus on giving travellers a deeper understanding about responsible tourism and ethical issues. Travellers are encouraged to use this knowledge in their future jobs, travels and daily life.
