West Nile Community Action For Rural Development (WN-CARD)is a registered community based organization in Arua District and possible extension to other Districts of West Nile region.


1. To ensure that all men and women, girls and boys and the vulnerable have equal rights to the economic resources and the basic services in the community.
2. To fight in preventing of HIV/AIDS and hepatitis, Cholera,malaria and other water borne diseases among the people in the community and to promote health programs in the community.
3. To promote healthy and hygienic environment through water and sanitation initiatives (WASH).
4. To provide a platform for the elimination of gender disparities in the education sector and ensure equal access to all levels of education and vocation training for the vulnerable in the community.
5. To help in supporting Educational initiatives in the communities.
6. To promote good Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) among girls and boys in and out of schools through a comprehensive sexuality education and access to reproductive health services.
7. To ensure sustainable food production system and implement resilient agriculture practices to increase productivity of food and production among the rural communities in Uganda.
8. To promote economic development through eradication of poverty, attainment of good quality of life and standard of living of the people of in particular setting.
9. To promote Community based infrastructural development.
10. To promote Community Nutrition and Health.
