CAPE is a civil society non governmental development agency working towards conflict transformation by utilizing research, conflict management, reintegration of affected communities, negotiation, reconciliation, advocacy, capacity building of staff and communities, WASH in schools and communities, entrepreneurship / vocational skills training, human rights education, monitoring / documentation, disaster management and prevention, gender based violence campaigns, food security among others.

CAPE has it head office in Bo city with 15 staff and 5 volunteers, 300 community volunteer peace monitors. CAPE operates in 5 districts ( Bo, Moyamba, Pujehun, Bonthe and Kenema )
