Millman Foundation…
Vision:
Becoming a resourceful and sustainable organization that fosters Education, leadership, good governance, social entrepreneurship and Effective Citizenship in schools and communities.
Mission:
Establishing sustainable Reach One Teach One (ROTO) Hubs in schools and communities that foster an enabling ecosystem in these schools and communities to train and equip student leaders and community youth leaders in Leadership, Good Governance, Effective Citizenship, Social Entrepreneurship, and bridging the gap between Certificate hands-on skills.
Goals:
ROTO Hubs will constitute 4 leaders from each accommodated clubs of the school and all class prefects.
In communities, ROTO Hubs will constitute 4 youth leaders from all youth associations of that community.
In schools, 1 leadership seminar or social entrepreneurship workshop will be organized per term for both elected school prefects and ROTO Hub members.
The Millman Foundation Team will organize free and fair elections for partner schools only after they MUST have sensitised students to participate either as voters or candidates.
The Millman Foundation organises an annual 1 week ROTO Equip and Leadership Training program every August to accommodate all student leaders and community youth leaders. The first was organised in Buea, Cameroon in 2019.
We also recommend these ROTO members and elected school prefects for available national and international leadership, good governance, social entrepreneurship and policy making seminars, conferences and fellowships.
After the 2019 ROTO Equip and leadership training program, 10 ROTO Hub members have benefited from 4 accredited national leadership programs, 1 international Fellowships and 5 online leadership programs.
Partner with us today and let’s equip student leaders and community youth leaders for better leadership and active community engagement. We have a continent to build, let’s start in our schools and with our communities.
You may #Donate as well to support the vision. Thank you!
