Youth Partnership for Peace and Development is a Sierra Leonean based youth-led development organization working with partners across the world to foster youth-led approaches to development. The organization was formed in 2005 by young people who strongly believe in the strength youth have to bring about meaningful changes within the communities in which they live by changing the generally held view that young people should be regarded as beneficiaries or objects of research rather than as equal and trusted partners in development.
