ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND AND CAPACITY

All for Peace, Children’s Welfare and Women’s Empowerment (APCWWE), founded in June 2015, is a non-profit community based organization dedicated to improving the living conditions of refugees in the refugee camps of Kakuma and Kalobeyeyi, and in the area of the residents of the neighboring community of Turkana.

VISION :

To have-throughout the 21st Century-a sustainable community exposed to social change. To find a way to minimize the extreme poverty for individuals in slum communities, where people are involved in socioeconomic improvement for sustainable development. To create a safe, sustainable community that enables social change and education for populations at risk in the said communities.

Different departmental programs :

A. Women’s Empowerment

Promotion of Gender Equality / Fight illiteracy / Teach English language /
Vocational training center / Microcredit provision

B. Children’s Welfare

Fight child labor / Children’ session

C. Peace program

Campaign against tribalism / Advocate for peaceful coexistence / Peacebuilding mass campaign
