International China Concern (ICC) supports the Chinese government in aiding the socially disadvantaged. ICC channels medical equipment, personnel, rehabilitation equipment, training resources, clothing and finances into joint venture projects in China. ICC provides paediatric training, occupational and physical therapy, counselling for Chinese welfare workers, special needs education and medical care, vocational workshops for young adults and many other programmes. With a United Kingdom office in Morpeth, England, one of the organisation’s highlight projects is a child sponsorship programme for disabled Chinese orphans.
