Likoni Community for Development

Unverified non-profit organisation

Likoni Community for Development is a Community Based Organization (CBO) which was initiated in 2004 as a Self Help Group and registered as a CBO 2017. The CBP’s scope of operations target the entire Likoni District of Mombasa County in Kenya. They engage themselves in utilizing the available local resources as an anchor in job creation and are currently working with local vulnerable youths and community at large in waste management so as to enhance environmental and public health within the vicinity. Waste management programme targets to offer employment opportunity for more than 300 youths who are living in vulnerable life style.
This organization has the capacity in managing the intended programme as they have qualified and experience staff who have worked in the development sector. As part of the locals they enjoy the recognition of both the society, government and and other authorities; but what they lack is the finacial aspect in implementation of our envisioned goals.
