Millman Foundation

(Unverified non-profit organisation)

Millman Foundation seeks to provide an enabling environment for young people by reinforcing education as a powerful toolkit to beat the increasing high rate of unemployment, dependency and poor leadership in the local communities.

There are currently 4 Millman Foundation Clubs. These clubs serve as a link between the schools or communities and the foundation. Through these clubs, the foundation reaches out to students.

Millman Foundation’s cause areas are education, leadership and good governance, social entrepreneurship and vocational apprentice training (handwork), sports, culture, talents, personal development and basic healthy lifestyle. They provide didactic materials to underprivileged students, provide partial and full sponsorship to students of these schools. The Foundation also organises inter-classes cultural, talents and sports competitions and same competition for inter-schools. Prefects elections are organized to engage the entire student community to actively participate either as voters or candidates. 2 leadership workshops are provided to these elected prefects per term and also recommend them for national and international leadership conferences or fellowships. Partial and full scholarship are provided for students who have shown undoubtable interest in any handwork of their choice to vocational training centers or workshops to complement their formal education.
