Smart Economic Empowerment and Development Solutions (SEEDS) is a legally registered non-profit organization authorized to work in Nairobi, Kajiado, Makueni, Machakos, and Taita Taveta Counties in Kenya.
SEEDS aims at alleviating poverty among the most vulnerable by smart economic empowerment projects with proven success.
As the acronym SEEDS suggests, the organization believes in nurturing the seed potential of individuals and communities for sustainable economic prosperity. This is done through an integrated model that combines financial literacy education, formation of savings groups, the provision of seed capital for productive asset purchase in the form of Micro Finance loan, and continuous monitoring, mentorship and support to overcome emerging challenges.
