  The Centre for Ageing and Rural Development (CARD)is a Kenyan NGO that aims to empower and promote the interests of older persons through training, support, research, policy analysis, and dissemination of information.  The organization’s efforts are geared towards the alleviation of poverty and improving the livelihood of older people especially older women who care for  their families.
CARD is committed to bringing in a dynamic change for  older persons in terms of social participation and integration, economic security, macro societal change and development, healthy ageing, enhancing the physical and mental quality of life and ushering in care systems in diverse cultural, socio-economic and environmental situations.
