Verizon Wireless Hopeline Programme (VWHP)

Unverified non-profit organisation

The Verizon Wireless Hopeline Programme (VWHP) is an initiative of Verizon Wireless, a large wireless network with a corporate commitment to the prevention of domestic violence. The Hopeline Programme collects no-longer-used wireless phones and equipment in any condition from any service provider. The equipment is either refurbished and sold or recycled. The funds raised from the sale of the refurbished phones are used to provide new phones and airtime to victims of domestic violence, and to assist non-profit domestic violence shelters and prevention programmes across the country.
