The Trust Fund for the Second Decade is an initiative of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, an advisory body to the Economic and Social Council with a mandate to discuss indigenous issues related to economic and social development, culture, the environment, education, health and human rights.

The Fund is intended to provide support for projects that will have short and long-term benefits for indigenous people.

The website provides guidance for organisations wishing to apply for funds.
