Unverified non-profit organisation

Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) is an independent non-partisan organization devoted to protecting and promoting human rights and civil liberties in Israel and in the territories under its control. ACRI’s work encompasses litigation and legal advocacy, education, and public outreach as the most effective way in which to build toward our long-term vision of a just and democratic society that respects the equal rights of all persons. The association is committed to promoting the universality of human rights and to defending the rights of all, regardless of religion, nationality, gender, ethnicity, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background. ACRI uses a multi-pronged strategy to advance the concept of civil and human rights as an integral part of democratic community building. Its financial resources come from the membership fees and from donations in Israel and around the world.
