Greenwich Refugee Aid and Community Enterprise

Unverified non-profit organisation

GRACE is a small but growing charity based at 18 Leegate, Lee Green, South-east London. GRACE collects donations of clothing, furniture, food and other essential supplies from the local community to sort, pack by item & re-distribute for refugees and destitute families both locally and abroad, helping any low income families locally with clothing, children’s items and furniture. GRACE networks with other established charities and regional groups to share information and work together, collaborating to support refugees in France, Belgium, Turkey, Serbia, Greece, Syria. GRACE now runs a charity shop on selected mornings to help raise funds for shipping and services by selling donations that are not required by the beneficiaries. Operating a minimal waste policy to reduce waste, GRACE constantly strives to make the most of public donations. The organization is entirely run by volunteers, so that means GRACE can maximise the benefit of resources.

GRACE runs and manages Lewisham Brighter Beginnings through referrals from midwives and social workers to support and supply destitute families with baby and other day-to-day supplies.
