The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation is a family foundation established in 1944 by the man who started Hilton Hotels. The Foundation provide funds to nonprofit organizations working to improve the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people throughout the world. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded almost $900 million in grants; currently more than half of the annual grants are international.

The Foundation has 10 priority areas, including water, homelessness, resisting substance abuse, caring for vulnerable children and supporting Catholic sisters and Catholic education.

Grants are also awarded for medical research in specific areas, and the Foundation provides opportunities for training in hotel and restaurant management.
