Founded in 1984, CAUSE Canada is an international relief and development organisation working to empower communities and individuals in disadvantaged regions to overcome poverty and improve quality of life. Their development priority includes primary health care, water and sanitation, reforestation, gender-specific development initative (Women’s projects) and micro-enterprise projects. Its overseas funding assistance is within West Africa and Central America. Partnered with organisations like UNHCR, WFP, CAUSE Canada has provided emergency assistance for West African refugees since 1991.
