The World Bank Group’s mission is to fight poverty and improve the living standards of people in the developing world. The Bank’s role in Zimbabwe is limited to technical assistance and analytical work focusing on macroeconomic policy, food security/agrarian sector, social sector expend­itures and delivery, infrastructure assessments, and HIV/AIDS program support. Some of the analytical work is funded through an Analytic Multi-Donor Trust Fund (A-MDTF), which the Bank is administering.
