Peace for Conservation (PfC) is a non-government, not for profit organization operating at both grassroots and national level in Tanzanian mainland. PfC was registered on July, 3rd 2015 under the Tanzania NGO Registration Act, number 24 of 2002 with registration number OONGO/R2/000394., it’s a member of Conservation Optimism where the two partners achievements are under the named program: Peace and Conservation which include Dance for Conservation, Soccer for Conservation, Comedians for Conservation, Move (people with physical disability) for Conservation, Education for Conservation and Human-elephant Conflict Mitigation.

PfC aspires to conserve wildlife and wild places, improve community health and healthy environment and alleviate poverty at grassroots level alongside solidly improved community livelihood opportunities for effective conservation in Tanzania. PfC acknowledges that, community engagement on conservation creates a positive dynamic change of conservation and diplomacy towards achieving Peace and Conservation due to equal sharing of accrued benefits from conservation through advocacy that lead to common understanding.
