Conservation International

Unverified non-profit organisation

With projects in over 40 countries, Conservation International is a leader in global biodiversity conservation efforts. This non-profit organization is focused on biodiversity “hot-spots” and key marine regions with aim to protect the greatest number of species for each dollar spent. Recognizing that no one organization can safeguard the environment alone, it has partnered with over 350 organizations in key priority areas. In addition, it has founded the Center for Applied Biodiversity Science (CABS) to develop strategic plans for conservation as well as collect and interpret data regarding biodiversity.
