The Benevolent Association for the Protection of the Environment and the Socially Underprivileged (BAPESU) is a Cameroonian NGO that works on issues related to social, cultural and economic development and biodiversity, conservation and environmental protection. Among projects the organisation supports is an educational scheme for female orphans and underprivileged children, and a gorilla sanctuar.
