ActionAid - Thailand
Unverified non-profit organisation
ActionAid is an international anti-poverty agency whose aim is to fight poverty worldwide. It operates in more than 30 developing countries- working alongside poor and marginalised communities to help them fight for and gain their rights to food, shelter, work, education, healthcare and a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. ActionAid’s current focus in Thailand include: enabling children in Thailand’s ethnic communities and slums to have access to quality education; helping some of Thailand’s poorest people to fully recover from the Asian Tsunami tragedy, enabling them to live fully self-sufficient lives and overcome discrimination; and with women and girls, so that they may fully access their rights to productive livelihoods.
