Canadian Red Cross works with governments and other humanitarian organisations during disasters, emergencies or war to provide people with the basic necessities—food, clothing, shelter, first aid, emotional support, and family reunification. The organisation supports and manages development and rehabilitation programmes, ranging from primary healthcare to water sanitation and provides in-home community service for the aged and infirm within Ontario, Canada.
