Westlake United Church Trust (WUCT) is a non-profit organisation that aims to improve the quality of life for residents of Westlake Village (Cape Town). WUCT activities include running a pre-school for 80 children, providing a daily feeding scheme for local children, operating a Community Advice Office, facilitating an HIV/AIDS support group and delivering skills training courses, including handicrafts, home management, baking and carpentry. The Trust’s future projects include setting up a primary school, creating a care centre for vulnerable children, and renovating a hall to use as a community centre.
