The Light Up Africa Care Foundation (LUACF()is an association of volunteers committed to providing safe, healthy environmentally responsible and affordable renewable energy and lighting to Africa’s off-grid communities quickly and sustainably. The Foundation works to mitigate the effects of climate change through donations of safe clean reading lamps to school children, placement of solar fans in village schools and health centres, deployment of solar fridges and freezers in community health facilities for storage of drugs, and the placing of solar street lights in village squares and communal grounds.Website
