Buy an iPhone app, help save lives

A coalition of iPhone application makers donated the full proceeds of almost 150 top applications on January 20, 2012 to Haiti relief.

Dubbed “Indie Relief,” the program was one of many creative campaigns in which small businesses and startup entrepreneurs have donated the revenue from their products to life-saving relief organisations like Doctors Without Borders.

The participating applications were all laid out nicely at and included some well-known products. The list ranged from games to productivity tools to clients for social networks like Twitter.
