Global Container Lines (GCL) offers movement of general cargo, containers, rolling stock, project and bulk containers for humanitarian aid. In the wake of the 2005 South Asian earthquake, GCL offered free ocean freight services on one of its vessels to move relief to Pakistan. GCL is among the largest carriers of humanitarian food aid cargo for the US government aid agency, USAID and also ships goods for several other international humanitarian agencies.
