Develop community project in Kenya

Requested by

African Child Initiative Programme

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

We are a community based organization in Kenya and aim to help the most vulnerable children in our community. We are also interested in helping women. We carry conduct HIV/AIDS training and provide seed money for business development. We also support the education of orphans who make craft items to sell, and thus help to raise some income for our project; we also help to keep our environment clean.

We would like to extend the work we are already doing, as it has already had a very beneficial impact on the community.

What is your project and how will it help?

Our idea is help the most vulnerable members of the community by providing financial and material support so that we can build a community based school, and also afford to buy the handicrafts materials for the hand made baskets, beads and necklaces that the children make.

The micro finance will take the most vital concept to modify the project output and act as a mobilization strategy for the project growth. Most of hand made activities will be supplied locally and internationally. The identified networks will be of great benefit to the community.

How can other people partner with you on your project?

We would like other people to partner with us by providing the funds/materials for the development the project.

The project expects partners to help in the marketing of the project concepts and good ideas that will see the programme establish the most convenient partnerships and collaboration.

The emphasis will be put on the development of a community based school and the table banking modules. Most of the projected items to be supported are highlighted below in the provision of the following budgets.
