Goods request for youth, disabled and women in Tanzania

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

Based on social economic report by 2011 of Kigoma region, indicates that the region has 1.3 million youth, 432 disabled people and 982,098 women who all lack employment opportunities in the community. The majority of them have got formal and informal education in school and colleges in the country, unfortunately, they lack employment.

The project will provide working machines, equipment and tools to create their employment requirement so as to increase goods production for themselves and surplus for selling to improve their social economic welfare. Apart from above, the beneficiaries do not own properties like houses and land. Therefore, due to their financial hardship that face them, they can not do business, therefore, they can not earn anything and continue with poor economic standard.

What is your project and how will it help?

The proposed project is to distribute productivity machine, equipment and tools for youths, disabled and women and used in goods production. They will use them for producing goods for using at their households and surplus for selling to increase their incomes for meeting their requirement for themselves and community at large. Put into consideration that the beneficiaries can no own properties like houses and land. Moreover due to their financial hardship situation that face them, they can not do any business. this situation has been increasing poor economic standard not only for themselves but also for community members at large.

The produced goods will be used for increasing social economic welfare. The requested goods will increase employment for 20% of the beneficiaries in Kigoma region. The project also plans to network the beneficiaries to establish revolving funds for loaning them. Thereafter, they will be also networked with existing financial institutions in the region.

How can other people partner with you on your project?

Individual and business companies will purchase the project produced goods while community members will gain produced goods. the government will support the project through providing promising environment.
