Peace & Community Development Initiative (PCDI) works with 80 adults, 75% of which are women. PCDI works with vulnerable people who both expressly show need for robust training and provision of micro-credit services.
What is your project and how will it help?
PCDI is a registered community based organization, with the vision of a peaceful, understanding and just community free from poverty. Our mission is to equip the community with knowledge, skills and resources effective for peace, justice maintenance and eradication of poverty. Our core programs are: Leadership development, entrepreneurship development, and micro-finance and child development.
PCDI seeks to avail business and financial training, running a micro-credit scheme.
How can other people partner with you on your project?
PCDI hopes to increase membership from 80 to 300 beneficiaries within 3 years. PCDI is open for other partners, local and international, and has continuous resource mobilization programs.
Please detail the resources that you need.
- US $ 30,000 for the micro-credit program for first year, with terms and conditions favoring our beneficiary community.
- Training opportunities in micro-credit and management.
