Looking for corporate partner who can help survivors of trafficking
Requested by
unseenWho are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?
unseen(uk) was founded to give survivors of trafficking safety, hope and choice. We gather information to assess the level and scale of human trafficking in the UK and assist survivors directly in gaining access to the aftercare they need.
What is your project and how will it help?
Working in partnership with statutory organisations and other NGO’s our projects support women who have been identified as trafficked for sexual exploitation.
We provide relief to assist survivors in rebuilding their lives through access to housing provision, financial and legal support, education and medical treatment. Through active awareness raising, fundraising and establishing strong partnerships this network of support is now available to survivors.
unseen(uk)’s aim is to continue to work with others to identify and care for those individuals who have been removed from a life of choice by means of force, fraud or deception. unseen(uk) will continue to research the issues surrounding human trafficking and expand the provision of care and support where there is a need.
unseen(uk) are actively involved with the CSJ (Centre for Social Justice) gathering information on the current scale and nature of trafficking in the UK.
How can other people partner with you on your project?
Anyone can help raise awareness of this modern day slavery by learning more about human trafficking and keeping informed of the UK’s response.
You can also become an unseen(uk) supporter and stay up to date with our quarterly newsletter available on our website www.unseenuk.org
On a practical level we would like to contact anyone in a position to help with the provision of clothes, shoes and basic essentials that go into care packages.
We would also be interested in placements from business into unseen(uk) for a period of time.
Please detail the resources that you need.
Further investigation into the current levels of trafficking and the continuing provision of care for survivors requires ongoing financial support. Again details of how to donate are available on our website www.unseenuk.org
