Outdoor Playground and Classroom Equipment needed in Zambia

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

Mwaka Safe Haven Foundation is a registered NGO whose objectives are to

-To assist the critically ill who cannot afford special medical attention.

-To halt or reduce HIV/AIDS infection and prop up the standard of living of people infected or affected by the pandemic.

-To support and care for various groups of vulnerable people such as orphans, physically handicapped and the old who have no one to look up to for their daily provisions.

-To offer education from nursery to tertially, Skills Training, entrepreneurship presentations, to promote talent and rehabilitate deviant youths to help them be responsible and productive members of society.

-To conduct outreach programmes, support the girl child, fight against child abuse, defilement and trafficking.

-To Run Income Generating Activities for sustainability.

What is your project and how will it help?

The School will help the organisation increase access to education to more underpriveleged children in the community and the outdoor playground to serve as an alternative recreation spot hence reducing chances of youths indulging in unorthodox activities.

How can other people partner with you on your project?

They can fund, donate equipment or partner with us to realise our vision. Innovative ideas and advice are welcome.

Please detail the resources that you need.

-Out door Play ground equipment including such as swings, slides, merry-go-round, sea-saws, trampolines, jumping castles, playground motorcycles, swimming pools etc.

-60 by 2 seater desks or chairs and tables for 120 children.

-Musical instruments, sports equipment, computers, toys, books and any other school materials.
