Mosquito nets for Zambia

Requested by

One Thousand Hearts Foundation

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

The project is aimed at providing support to the residents of Chaisa, Garden and Ng’ombe compounds by strengthening overall control of the Malaria parasite transmission the Anopheles Mosquito through enhanced coordination of response efforts such as using the repellant when necessary and always sleeping under the mosquito nets.

What is your project and how will it help?

These areas have been picked because of the potential breeding grounds they posses and these areas are also prone to power cuts at night when mosquitoes bit people. Affected persons are likely to be the most vulnerable and poorest people in the population.

How can other people partner with you on your project?

One Thousand Hearts Foundation is well coming any other organization willing to assist and partner in this great challenge.
