Collective Effort for Institutional Development (CEID)

CEID is a not for profit organization found in East Africa in Uganda in Rakai District. CEID is a registered Community based organization indulging in supporting orphans and vulnerable children and their caregivers. The organization also supports children affected by HIV by providing schooling equipment, clothes and training youth in vocational activities. CEID also trains the guardians of the children in income generating activities in addition to providing them with farm inputs to enable them eradicate famine in households.

The organization is led by a board of trustees made of 13 members who pool funds every year to provide for the children and thier caregivers.
Currently CEID is taking care of 2110 children, 1893 junior youth and 1129 youth and 368 guardians.
