Diesel- fired generators needed for conservation project in India and Nepal
Requested by
Ahimsa InternationalWho are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?
Ahimsa International is an NGO that aims to generate sustainable solutions in the areas of health, social rehabilitation and environmental preservation. As an altruistic “think tank”, Ahimsa International has presented strategies and programmes which have been used in whole or in part by ministries, organizations and other charitable organizations worldwide.
Ahimsa is currently working in India and Nepal in villages with no electricity which means we have a need for diesel-fired generators (15 – 20 KW). As we cannot afford to buy these ourselves, we are requesting donations of these items. Our scientists will provide the technology to help the villagers to generate their own biodiesel, so if they also have diesel gen-sets they will be able to become self sufficient.
What is your project and how will it help?
Our project is about generateing employment opportunities, working towards generating renewable energy , clean water and health services to less-privileged people. We have more than 100 scientists and engineers who are ready to support us in making this project successful.
