Kaghorwe savings and credit schemes group aims to empower communities for improved livelihood and sustainable development. There are field offices in Kaghorwe parish, Nyakiyumbu sub-county, Kasese district, western uganda.

Focus program areas are as follows :

1 Agriculture
2. Skills empowerment
3. Environmental conservation
4. Promoting savings culture.

The group works to support children, women, small holder farmers, people with disabilities, people affected/ infected with HIV, the youth, orphans and widows, marginalized mountain communities and fish Landers.

Since inception they have trained 123 young mothers in tailoring, 59 unemployed male youth have been trained in carpentry and joinery , 2000 small holder farmers have been trained in agronomy and post harvest handling.
