Philip Hayden Foundation

Unverified non-profit organisation

The Philip Hayden Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization, established for the purpose of helping China’s orphaned and special needs children, many of which are entrusted to them by government run orphanages. The organization, which was initially founded to sponsor minor surgeries (such as cleft lip and palate) for children, now consists of children’s villages equipped with foster homes, preschools, dormitory space for older teenage orphans, dedicated school building, classrooms for developing vocational/life skills training programs, and clinics. The foundation’s philosophy is to take in the so-called “broken” children and transform their hopelessness into beautiful stories of redemption and love. These special needs children are loved and cared for, provided with surgeries to correct their medical conditions and also given education at the village’s school. The foundation achieves its goal when a child entrusted to their care is adopted into a permanent family or is prepared for an independent, productive, and fulfilling life.
