UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) is the driving force that helps build a world where the rights of every child are realized. In support of Venezuela’s System of Protection of Children and Adolescents, UNICEF cooperates in the coordination, promotion of the political agenda for children, promoting children’s participation and advocacy with the government and civil society prioritize children in implementing policies, programs and mechanisms for the comprehensive protection of children. UNICEF programmes focus on child protection, including the protection of children in areas of armed conflict, pre-school education, HIV/AIDS prevention, and assistance in emergencies and disasters.
