Food for the Hungry is an international organization committed to working with the world’s most vulnerable people to overcome hunger and poverty through integrated self-development programs in more than 25 countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. These programs include agricultural training, micro-enterprise, health, economic and community development. Food for the Hungry also responds to both natural disasters (such as famines and earthquakes) and man-made disasters (such as war and tribal conflict) around the world.
