SmileBack Ministries Uganda

Unverified non-profit organisation

SmileBack Ministries Uganda is an indigenous NGO that aims to address the growing needs of orphans and widows caused by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

SmileBack assesses the welfare needs of vulnerable children and coordinates available resources for them. The organisation provides psychosocial care to widows and children whose lives have been affected by AIDS and helps widows by providing vocational training and help with income generation. SmileBack also provides formal education for children affected by HIV/AIDS, sensitises and educates the community about HIV/AIDS and provides
mobile palliative care for people living with AIDS.

SmileBack runs an orphanage and is keen to attract volunteers to help run this project and other initiatives.
