Catholic Relief Services (CRS) was founded in 1943 by the Catholic Bishops of the United States to assist the poor and disadvantaged. The aim of CRS globally is to provide direct aid to the poor, to involve people in their own development, helping them to realise their potential, to promote social justice and remove the root causes of poverty, and to provide relief in emergency situations. In Venezuela, CRS assists with the rehabilitation of flood victims in the states of Vargas, Caracas and Miranda.
The goal of Catholic Relief Services’ work in Venezuela is to help flood victims in the states of Vargas, Caracas and Miranda rebuild their communities.
