Partner to upscale poverty alleviation and climate change project in India

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

We are helping indigenous women and youths at the base of the pyramid, enabling them earn some US$ 3-5 a day from just under US$ 1 a day. We are into production and ensuring alternative livelihood for them introducing from their destructive system of livelihood. The program helps them to sustainable livelihood and mitigate climate change and global warming by reducing clearing of forest trees and bamboos for survival. We have reach out to 200 indigenous women and now need to reach out to 200 more this year, we need assistance to scale up our impacts.

Non-profit funding or for profit funding, we aim to create that into a Revolving Fund for hill tribes in India. Climate Change adaptation has become a serious problem and so we are trying to help them to help themselves.

What is your project and how will it help?

This project mitigate climate change and global warming at the same time provide alternative livelihood for the hill indigenous people. See our page, our products and our works.

Women and unemployed youth are able to earn their livelihood and women are now proud to be the owner of their business. This project also protect the indigenous peoples forest and natural resources for future generations.

We are also advocating for indigenous rights, our land, territories and resources are being manipulated by others without our permission, we are promoting for our cultural rights, socio-economic rights and health.

We make impacts at the Base of the Pyramid and network with other friends around the world. We change lives!

How can other people partner with you on your project?

Others can partner with us as co-finance or donor. We also need partner for technical skill development, or prototype development of the eco-friendly machines to save energy, time and enhance production.

Please detail the resources that you need.

To up scale our project to a value of $ 100, 000, we need $ 50, 000. This will keep on increasing and have positive impacts on more than 34,500 hill indigenous peoples in India.

Anybody with computer/technical skills to automatize the weaving machines, we need them and would like to partner with them.
