Hilton Islamic Development Centre (HIDC) is a dully registered Non-profit Community Based Organization fully Operational in the Republic of Uganda situate in Mbale City centred towards promoting self-reliant communities which are sustainable for development under Reg No. NCD/2021/0405l

The organization was initiated by the indigenous / local community of Mbale Uganda at Namakwekwe, Northern City Division in Mbale City. It was begun as a community based organization by only 9 young men and women with five elders in 2017. HIDC meets the National Statutory requirements with her certificates valid and operational to date. Currently, the organization has over 100 members and over 400 beneficiaries in Elgon and Sebei sub-regions.

The organisation was majorly formed mainly to focus on developing the life of rural people through development in various aspects for empowerment especially for women, children and elderly. It was built on principles, values and foundation of Islam to serve humanity regardless of the colour, tribe and religion. HIDC networks and partners with Local and International Associates to Enhance the Health Status, Education Status, and Normal living standards of people living in isolated rural areas as well as the poor infrastructure for the places of worship (Masjid/Mosques) in Mbale, Manafwa, Bududa, Sironko, Namisindwa, Butebo as the formely Bugisu Sub region and the entire Sebei sub regions..
