School for Life Foundation is a not-for-profit organization working in rural Uganda. The school aims to empower communities to help themselves and create their own opportunities.
To do that, the foundation builds schools to provide communities with a quality education, including primary and secondary schooling, vocational training and other services – such as employment and healthcare solutions.
School for Life has been built on the joint principles of capacity development and community empowerment. They believe in the transformative impact of education and aim to provide a high-quality education to those who need it most, so they can develop themselves and change the communities where they live. Schools are aligned with the needs of the community.
Encourage and enable productive and sustainable community-based economic development, to reduce the reliance on hand-outs. The foundation also promotes and advocates the benefits of investing in education.
