Requested by

SUFA

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

SUFA works on a number of development themes to build strong communities; our work is dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of the most vulnerable, including children, young people, families and women in poor communities. Our work is concentrated in communities in need, SUFA works to make a difference in people’s lives helping socially excluded individuals to survive financially in these challenging economic times. Much of our work is driven by the need to find solutions to local problems of survival, we provide individuals and communities with opportunities to change their living conditions and build strong communities.

What is your project and how will it help?

In order to achieve our mission, SUFA is working on the construction of two Resource Centres – 1 in Benin and 1 in Uganda, which aims to be a place where the poorest in the community can share information with each other about the best places to find resources, maintain relationships with relatives and friends abroad, services and information for community groups and individuals in the local area. They can download handy information sheets or send us questions and we’ll try to help.
